Expobiogaz 2020 COVID-19 preventive measures

The above protocol is based on the latest recommendations of the French health authorities. Any changes in the future will comply with their new requirements. We will keep you posted about any such changes.

General information

Procedures at trade show reception

  • All visitors’ badges will be digitized. Exhibitors’ paper badges can be collected from the Show office on Tuesday September 1st.  
  • Incoming and outgoing foot traffic will be controlled to enable global head counts at all times.
  • Signs detailing preventive procedures will be placed at all Show entrances and strategic points, hand sanitizer will be available in all reception and event areas.
  • Everyone at the Show must wear a mask.

Reorganization of show meeting spaces

  • A one-way traffic system will be installed at each meeting space, separating entries and exits.
  • Discussion spaces will be enlarged to permit social distancing
  • Toilets, public spaces and door handles will be disinfected more frequently …
  • Specific COVID waste bins will be installed throughout the Show.
  • The catering areas will only sell take-outs.
Visitors dedicated information

What safety measures should stand adopt?

  • Every visitor must sanitize their hands when entering a stand
  • All visitors’ badges will be digitized. Exhibitors’ paper badges can be collected from the Show office on Tuesday September 1st.  
  • Incoming and outgoing foot traffic will be controlled to enable global head counts at all times.
  • Signs detailing preventive procedures will be placed at all Show entrances and strategic points, hand sanitizer will be available in all reception and event areas.
  • Everyone at the Show must wear a mask.
  • Everyone must respect social distancing of 1 metre.
Exhibitors dedicated information

In order to implement the governmental program and the recommendations of the medical authorities in force on 7 July 2020*,

The organisation team planned on site:

  • The management of access and exit doors and escalators,
  • The management of flow directions,
  • The counting of entering employees,
  • To enforce of distancing measures at all times,
  • Controls of actual sanitary measures,
  • The presence of first-aid workers during the assembly and dismantling periods,
  • The presence of a doctor during the opening days of the show,
  • The implementation of a structure to receive people with symptoms or people who have been detected by first-aid workers during their visits,
  • The opening of all sanitary facilities with regular and reinforced maintenance and cleaning,
  • The implementation of hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrances, exits, halls and exhibition areas,
  • The multiplication of catering outlets, prioritizing take-away sales,
  • The expansion of dining and resting areas to comply with physical distancing guidelines,
  • The obligation to wear a mask or a visor,
  • The distribution of masks for people who do not wear a mask,
  • The display of the barrier measures to be observed within the hall,
  • A daily point of information and questions/answers on health measures during the show,
  • To dematerialize communication materials (e-daily, pre-printed badge).

Every person with proven symptoms, identified by the first-aid workers or at the entrances, will be refused entry and will be handled by the dedicated services on site.


Exhibitors’ requirements for Expobiogaz

For your employees, service providers & subcontractors, it is necessary to:

  • Remind prevention measures before the show, raise awareness among the reception staff.
  • Promote pre-built stand structures and easily cleanable furniture.
  • Prohibit the collective use of tools.
  • Designate a Covid-19 referent on your stand.
  • Remind the mandatory use of a mask or a visor.
  • Define work schedules that integrate health measures (only for bare stand).
  • Plan for the disinfection of contact surfaces between users and the provision of wipes and hand sanitizer in case of shared use of vehicles and/or tools.
  • Avoid the distribution of promotional documents or objects, promote electronic formats.

And for your attendees, it is necessary to:

  • Favour appointment scheduling for demonstration.
  • Provide employees and visitors with wash points.
  • Ensure a strong and visible display of health instructions for your staff and visitors.
